These are the Classic 100 Animated Icons. They were animated by MMMM starting from public domain image sources and donated back to the public domain in a series of 5 releases during February and March of 1996.
On April 29, 1997, the animations were replaced by improved versions. If you are currently using any of these animations you may wish to replace them with the newer versions (they will load faster! See the list of improvements.)
