We’re Back Online Now

Yesterday’s Slashdotting hit us harder than usual, keeping us unavailable for the better part of Mother’s Day, but we’re back online now after switching to a backup system. We hope the slowdown/unavailability didn’t scare away any of our readers, and we apologize for the inconvenience and will be upgrading our bandwidth in addition to optimizing our backend systems shortly.

The site may still seem a little more sluggish than usual, as it is now being carried by one single backup server rather than the usual cluster (dare we say “cloud”?). Regardless, we’ll be back to writing articles in a day or so. Thanks for bearing with us!
