Once again, Mashable reports on something that is completely unfounded and false. Below is the original YouTube video Mashable claims could be proof that MJ is still alive, and the “making of” video by the Germans that created the hoax in the first place.

First of all, let me say that I am not an MJ fan. At the same time, I’m not an anti-MJ fan. I just wasn’t one of those who kept up with his music and followed him around. I’m just sort of of neutral. I think I probably kept up more with him when he was part of a group — the Jackson 5. I am, however, one of those curious people who really likes investigating situations. I really should have been a PI. At any rate, since his reported death, I’ve become really curious/interested in him. While I totally believe that it is possible for MJ to still be alive, we have to also apply some common sense to some of the things that are floating around the internet. For example, let’s look at the supposed MJ exiting a van. The public already believed that MJ was in that coroner’s van. So, it would not have been necessary for him (if still alive) to actually get into the van to go down to the coroner’s lab. For what purpose? I see no purpose. If he was still alive, he could just have remained at his home. I mean think about it — If a corpse was put into the van, the public expected a corpse to be removed from the van. But to have a living individual jump out of the van would have only been necessary if it was a hoax because, as I said, people already thought MJ was in the van. There was no need for him to actually get in there and then allow himself to be seen jumping out. If he/they wanted people to really believe he was dead, then a corpse should have been removed from the van, not a living individual. Also, some people say they have seen MJ alive and then there is a picture of a supposedly MJ in the type of attire he would have been wearing if alive, complete with the same hairstyle. MJ is known all over the world. Do you really think he could pull that off without attracting a lot of attention, sitting outside supposedly having lunch in Switzerland somewhere dressed the exact same way he would have dressed when/if alive. If someone is still alive and trying to give the impression that they are dead, I doubt if they would pull something like that, especially so soon. I imagine that (if still alive) they would have on a disguise. Let’s just apply some common sense to what we see and hear. Having said all of that, I still think it’s possible that he may be alive, especially having him (or a look alike) repeat over and over THIS IS IT…THIS IS REALLY IT. Sounds like there was a prophetical message in that statement. And also I noticed too, as has been pointed out, that the person at the microphone appeared not to be very experienced in handling a microphone, unless that was all part of the set-up. Who really knows! ???
i saw the video and feel it is not clear or conclusive enough to make such bold claims. i agree that it is suspicious though. Like many I too had stopped paying attention to the man and his music, but had the big heart-turnaround after his passing and went rushing to buy his music/vids. there are many similar incredible stories floating on the web…. its normal when celebrities die…. but i think in this case it may not be totally impossible……but i doubt it. for this to be true it would have to involve waaaay to many people at too many levels to fool the public. i mean the president of the US issued a statement…… then again maybe Michael Jackson is down in some bunker with Elvis chuckling at all us nincompoops and singin songs for neverland
