Verizon Nexus One In April?

There is a lot of buzz surrounding Verizon these days about the possible arrival of the Verizon Iphone and the Verizon Nexus One and it comes as no surprise Google is looking to make the Nexus One as popular as the iPhone. Although the iPhone was able to achieve this being exclusive to AT&T, the Nexus One has not gotten enough sales despite the deals with all of the top wireless carriers; All of them except Verizon that is. I have a feeling once Verizon gets the Nexus One, the Google phone just may see a huge spike in sales. But that begs the question, where exactly is Nexus One for Verizon?

Many reports are saying that Verizon will be getting the Nexus One this month. Of course, the month has just started, so we can only wait and see. According to jkOnTheRun and some “multiple sources”, Verizon’s Nexus One will come with a surprise, meaning that it might be different than the smartphone’s versions for T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint. While likely to be very similar, including the AMOLED screen and 1GHz processor, Verizon’s Nexus 1 model is also rumored to be coming with a “big surprise” that won’t be present on other models.

What could this be? New colors? Wireless hot-spot built in? We can only let our imaginations run wild with this as we wait for a “spring” announcement but I can assure you, there are a lot of anxious customers waiting to get their hands on the CDMA version of one of the most advanced feature phones available. While you are waiting, be sure to check out our hands-on review of the Nexus One so you will be fully prepared ;)
